ICCI - Airline Systems and Insyte have created a local or remote Web FIDS. ICCI-FIDS sends the display information to the Insyte Web Interface Module that displays the arrival and departure information on a web site. An example can be found at:

o World Wide Web interface.
o Supports CRT video and LED sign displays. For Signage information, please refer to the ICCI-FIDS Sign Support Brochure.
o Open system architecture meets the requirements of modern airports for open hardware and software platforms.
o Modular system can be scaled to meet the needs of different environments, from small airports to large hub-terminals.
o Based on PC-compatible hardware to reduce training, service and support cost.
o Multi-User and Multi-Carrier supported.
o Local Area Network (LAN) technology provides an open system for future airport growth and flexibility.
The ICCI Flight Information Display System is a new generation of FIDS products, that view airports as evolving environments. The use of open technologies such as PC workstations and local area networks allow future growth that is not constrained by proprietary system platforms.
The ICCI-FIDS system is partitioned into two sub-systems : Display system and Sign (LED panel) system. Each is partitioned into three main components :
o Database Server, a PC-based application responsible for the storing, retrieving, and distributing flight display and sign display information.
o Database Editors. The users interface consists of pull-down menus with form-fill and selection entry fields. Each Editor can be configured to support one or many carriers.
o Display or Sign Controller, a PC-based application managing the physical CRT displays or LED panels.
o EGA, CGA color and Monochrome video operations.
o Chronological flight schedule database.
o Remote display and editing operations.
o Validation and item selection features not found in conventional FIDS systems.
o Keypad operations. Ramp FIDS.
o Automated real-time display update functions.
